TAP Portugal

TAP Portugal is the flag carrier of Portugal and is based in Lisbon. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance airline group and operates 2,500 flights a week to 87 destinations in 34 countries worldwide. Their fleet currently consists of mainly Airbus aircraft, plus a handful of Embraer and ATR aircraft. TAP Portugal’s carry on luggage size and weight allowances depend on the class of ticket you have purchased and the destination/origin of your flight. Note: TAP Portugal’s website also states that “In some aircraft operated by TAP Express (Embraer 190 and ATR 72-600), there may be additional limitations due to space constraints in the aircraft cabin and luggage compartment.”
