Spirit Airlines is a low cost carrier based in the USA. They operate 500 flights per day to more than 65 destinations throughout the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The airline is known for their super low fares, and with that comes fees for add-ons.

  • Free: 1 small item, which must fit under the seat
  • For a charge: 1 larger item that fits in the overhead is allowed with a fee

  • H x W x D = 18 x 14 x 8 in – free and must fit under seat
  • H x W x D = 22 x 18 x 10 in – for a fee and goes in overhead
  • Weight = not indicated

The cost of adding a carry on bag to your ticket is much cheaper when booked ahead of time as opposed to paying for it at the last minute.
