The following is how Ryanair describes the size allowed for your hand luggage:
“Each passenger can take one small item of carry-on baggage (up to 40cm x 20cm x 25cm) on the plane with them. Our small bag sizers measure 42cm x 20cm x 30cm.
There is no carry-on baggage allowance for children under two who do not have their own seat reserved and will travel on an adult’s knee. However, the adult can carry a baby bag weighing up to 5kg as well as their own carry-on baggage.”
Important info about Ryanair’s hand luggage limits
Passengers without Priority & 2 Cabin Bags are allowed only 1 small bag.
Ryanair passengers with Priority & 2 Cabin Bags (including Plus or Flexi Plus tickets) are allowed 1 small bag and 1 cabin bag.
You can purchase Priority & 2 Cabin Bags when you make your booking, any time after booking, or up to 40 minutes before departure. Charges are much higher if your bag is too big and you have not purchased Priority & 2 Cabin Bags.
