JetBlue Airways began in 1999 at JFK airport. They currently operate a fleet of Airbus A320s, Airbus A321s, and Embraer 190s, and the airline serves destinations throughout the USA as well as Mexico, the Caribbean, and parts of Central and South America. JetBlue provides carry on luggage size restrictions for both your carry on item and personal item, so be sure to read the information below.

Carry on baggage allowances for JetBlue Airways

Number of carry on items allowed: 1 + personal item

Maximum allowed in imperial: (official)

  • H x W x D = 22 x 14 x 9 in
  • H x W x D for personal item = 17 x 13 x 8 in
  • Weight = you must be able to place your carry on luggage in the overhead compartment

Maximum allowed in metric: (official)

  • H x W x D = 55.88 x 35.56 x 22.86 cm
  • H x W x D for personal item = 43.2 x 33 x 20.32 cm
  • Weight = you must be able to place your carry on luggage in the overhead compartment

Please note that personal items must go underneath the seat in front if you, and in order to fit, they must comply with the size restrictions stated above.
